What shipping methods are available?

Products from Rain & Son are delivered via DHL, UPS or a similar Freight company. Shipping fee may be added to your order and the amount is dependent on where you live.

How long will it take to get my package?

We aim to send your products within 3-7 working days. All products are shipped on normal working days, Monday to Friday

What does shipping cost?

A shipping fee may be added to your order and the amount is dependent on where you live. You will see the amount in the check-out.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes but shipping fee and custom fees might be added to your order and the amount is dependent on where you live.

Is customs included in the shipping fee?

Custom fees are not included outside of EU. Please contact your local customs office for more information.

What payment methods are accepted?

Payments can be made with Credit Cards.

Is VAT included in the price?

Where applicable, prices are inclusive of VAT at the rate appropriate to the country of receipt within the EU. VAT is not included in our prices for customers outside of the EU. Orders to countries outside of EU, USA, Japan may be subject to local VAT, import duties and/or taxes, which are levied once your package reaches your country.

What additional fees can be charged if ordered outside of EU?

How do I place an order?

Just add the items you like to buy to your cart. When done shopping go to check-out and follow the instructions.

Do I need an account to place an order?

No you don’t need an account to place an order.

How do I know I have successfully placed my order?

You will receive an email confirmation as soon as your order is completed. Please check any junk filters if you have not received anything.

Can I preorder items that are currently out of stock?

We do not take pre-orders but you can sign up to get an email notification as soon as the item is back in stock.

Do you offer a gift wrapping service?

No, unfortunately we do not offer a gift wrapping service.

How can I cancel or change my order?

As we make an effort to ship items as soon as we can, it is of course better to make sure you choose the correct item first time around. But if we can we will of course do our best to help. Please contact us as soon as possible after making your order.

Returns and Refunds

How can I return a product?

You can return a product within 14 days at your own expense. The product being returned must be in a non-used condition, including original packaging, tags etc. All goods will be inspected on return.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

Yes, we are unable to cover the return shipping.

How long will it take to receive my refund?

As soon as we have received the returned item and it has been checked and confirmed to be unused and in re-sellable condition we will process the amount. It will then take 1-5 days to appear back into your account depending on the card company you are using.

What do I do if my umbrella has arrived damaged or faulty?

If your umbrella is delivered damaged or faulty then please contact us immediately.

Do the umbrellas come with a warranty?

All full priced umbrellas come with a 1 year warranty. Clearance items are not covered with a warranty. You can find more information on our warranty service here.


How do I best care for my umbrella?

Do you offer an engravement service on your umbrellas?

No, we do not offer the service to engrave your umbrella.

Can I bring my umbrella on my flights?

In general  you should be able to bring your umbrella as they are classified as personal items and allowed as carry on. They can also be checked in. But to be sure, it is best to double check with the Airline first.
